And you'll be amazed At the secrets i keep You'll be amazed
Deep maroon tennis shoes splashed the air with ashen dirt as I spun, kicking and jumping. Lyrics ringing in the decaying forest like gun shots through a meadow: "And you'll be amazed, at the secrets I keep. You'll be amazed at my mouth full of lies. I'm too afraid to come clean. My life's still free in the house of cards." My body shook as a released all of my pent up energy. Forest green v-neck t-shirt dusted with the fine ground ash that was the forest floor. This was a place of carnage. Of death and decay. But it didn't bother me. Not one bit. I was happy. Oh, so happy. Just to be alive. Just to be well, to be able to run and jump and yell and scream. This was life. It was amazing! "Now I can't look you in your eye's, because the guilt is killing me. I try disconnect my heart again, just so i can breathe. I wanna be myself again." I continued on through the crumbling forest, leaping over fallen hallows of trees and small embankments. Steel blue eyes shown in wondrous amazement as the wind whipped through my maroon-dyed hair.

The Raven was wandering the forest when he heard the shrilling voice. What the heck was that? Sounded like a canary singing its head off. Draco followed the voice till he came to a little clearing among the dead trees. He saw her dancing and singing in the clearing. The Raven was a bit perplexed by this girl, she was beautiful with her sapphire eyes and maroon hair, leaping like an antelope and singing in riddles that he didn't understand. A small smile appeared on his lips, but it quickly disappeared when the girl got closer. He hoped she didn't notice him. He spent most of his life hiding that he didn't know how to approach or talk to other people. What would she think of him? Would she run away if she saw his eyes. Those cursed eyes of a demon. The Raven wanted to run away but something kept his feet firm to the earth. Maybe it was the hope that maybe..... just mabe....... she would............. understand. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PS: Attached picture to show what his eyes looked like Attachments:

I'm sittin' on top of a mountain She's rockin' that valley down below Switch back to the peak with the blindfold, Bummin' down at the top of my lungs Screaming no
"I'm sittin' on top of a mountain," I chugged into the next song that popped into my head. I wanted to scream and yell louder, but my vocal cords would not allow it. Finally, finally I was in a world of my own. I had no rules, I could do what ever the hell I want when ever the hell I wanted! "I'm sippin' on some sunshine/I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife!" I jumped from stump to fallen log to stump, flailing about in my own jubilant musical. I was the creator of the story, I had the pen in my hands, the eraser was far, far away. With a sudden and swift motion, I slipped in the ashen dirt, and took a trip to my next fall. With a sooty "poof!" I landed in the wasted earth. Jumping up with a shrill laugh, I busted my face and back-side off, and looked around comically. Satisfied that no one had spied my little slip, I walked on, deeper into the broken forest. "Haha, good thing no one is here to see that!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, just to smooth my own frayed nerves.
I'm sippin' on some sunshine I'm gonna leave it for the morning in the afterlife, And she's drunk by the daytime I bet she feels it just the same I bet she feels it just the same, yeah

Raven watched the girl's mishap with bewildered amusement. He was starting to like this girl. She seemed so open and alive. Not like his family that he was so use to. All shutting themselves up with solemn stares on their faces. Draco remembered one time ,when he was nothing but a toddler, he came to his parents ,while they were hosting a ball, to seek comfort after having a nightmare. But what did they do? Shooed him away like he was a filthy dog. One of the servants had to take him back to his room. When he needed them the most they treated him like a pest. But this girl was different, she was the wild wind howling against this mountain that his past made him. She started to go toward the forest. Don't Go! the Raven's mind screamed. He started to follow her at a distance. The image of her tripping made him start to giggle, but his laughing was getting harder and louder. He had to stop following her and leaned against a tree. He never felt this happy for such a long time. He sank to the ash floor and continued laughing. Draco's stomach began to hurt and tears were rolling down his face. He didn't care though and didn't care if that girl heard him at all. He was going to enjoy this moment of bliss. Attachments:

Ancient walls of whispers falling low Murmur simmer and I'm feeling slow Keep me up but keep me in my head I'll ping a pound of posies 'til I'm dead
I stopped at the edge of a small thicket of trees that were beginning to make an attempt at budding. Digging my sneakers into the ground, I jumped up into the boughs of one of the trees. With an unsteady creak, the branch swayed under my weight, making my dangling legs flail. With a giggle I righted myself and swung my legs over, ending an an upside-down position. I looked around, scanning the area with my funny blue eyes. A trill of laughter caught my ear and I turned haphazardly to find the source. Suddenly the branch crumbled apart, and I plummeted to the ground. With an aggravated sigh, a scrambled from the heap of newly-made firewood, cursing and growling as I realized that I had ripped my shirt.
But I never heard you callin' from the sun Did you ever care to shoot your silver gun No I never heard you callin' from the moon Did you ever care to sing your free love tune [/right] Word Count: 131 Note: Not feeling it after the brain damage ... Draco was just starting to calm down when he watched the little antelope crash to the ground, which made him start all back up again. When he finally calmed down he got up and walked toward the girl. He was just a few yards from her when he stopped. " My you're a very graceful antelope, or should I call you a wolf since you growl like one? Oh, where are my manners? My name is Draco Valcon III, but you can call me Raven if you want to." he stated. Raven spotted the tear in her shirt and was just bewildered by this girl's behavior. " Not to be rude, but I was just curious to know, do you always act like this? You're the first person I known to act this,.... how do I say it,... wild? I guess that's because I raised in a family where everyone acted like a stiff." The Raven stated. He wasn't ashamed to talk to her, he felt that he needed to talk to someone, anyone for that matter. Foot falls crashed the scattered remains on the ground, and I spun around and around, searching for the creator. A single being I spied, and let out a startled scream. Was this a delayed reaction or an outburst of hilarity, the world my never know. I fell over for dramatic effect, and let the boy finish his little piece. I jumped up and rushed to his side, blowing the hair from my face, I extended a very dusty hand and grabbed his, shaking vigorously. "Hello, Mr. III, my name is Ass. Wild Ass." With a quick smile, I danced away, pulling my torn and ruined shirt to expose a skimp tank top. "Say, Mr. III, you are the first living thing I've seen since I have arrived here. How do you do?" I bowed elegantly and bolted off, running through the mass of tree corpse.

Sitting in my broken, poor little dead tree, I heard loud crashing lyrics and a more normal voice talking. Shaking my head slightly to get my sideswept bangs out of my navy eye, and tucking a few stray strands of hair behind my ear, away from my violet eye, I turned to see if I could spy them. Whoever them may be, I knew they had to be human otherwise I wouldn't be hearing voices. Breathing in, I hopped down from my tree, landing in a crouch but getting to my feet almost instantly. Stretching, I yawned slightly and started walking in the general direction of the voices. As I walked, I thought of everything. Everything... Well, everything that affected me directly, at least.
For instance, my father's business life as a lawyer, and a very, very good one at that; he had been at the top of his game when he heard about the coming disaster. I had been going to school, sneaking out, being a normal teenager when he told me. I didn't want to go, but he still made me come here. So here i was, yet here I did not want to be. Sure, I was glad to be alive-- who wasn't-- but even while alive I had seen hide nor hair of any sort of human being until now. Now, I had a reason to be here, and that reason for now was to meet these other people. I hadn't known that other people would be here; honestly I don't know what I had thought, but now that I knew that people were here, nothing was going to stop me from seeing them. I said nothing still, absentmindedly playing with my platinum blonde, black-streaked hair. I heard footsteps running towards me but didn't really care-- the sooner I met another person, the better off I would be. If they were crazy and tried to eat me, so it would be. Looking down at my black Adidas Classic Sambas, I smiled at te memory of how I had gotten the shoes, but then my gaze traveled upwards past my Old Navy sweetheart classic-rise navy blue jeans and my black-and-orange striped sweatshirt, which covered my long-sleeved gray shirt. I leveled my stare in the direction from which I heard the footsteps, keeping my face carefully blank.

So she calls herself wild ass? Raven shakes his head in amusement of this wild child. He had to hide his sense of shock and what was it, lust? when she revealed her skimpy tank top. What she trying to do flirt with him? Well what ever it was the raven had to calm down the stallion within himself. Draco never got the chance to be with girls around his age to date with or even to talk to. All the girls at his parents balls would just give him one look and would quickly go away, but some girls dared to approach him, only to be taken away by their family or friends. He desperately just wanted a friend to hang out with. Raven decided just to be wild ass's friend for now and would to see if their relationship would grow beyond that. She took off to the dead trees. He had to run to keep up, might as well get use to the excercise right? Attachments:

Whooping and hollering, I ran like greased lightening, multi-colored locks trailing behind, my ruined shirt flapping like a flag. Leaping over fallen logs and jumping ditches, I ran until my breath grew heavy. Sliding on my knees, I skidded to a halt at the base of a tree. As it turned out, running in circles wasn't very good for your state of mine. "Hey! Mr. Three! I'm dizzy! Are YOU dizzy!?" With a giggle I relaxed my muscles and let myself fall back into the dirty ashen ground. With another high-pitched giggle I flailed my arms and legs, making poor ash angels.

Humming quietly under my breath, a tuneless song with no purpose or meaning. Still staring, now zoning out, I barely noticed when I almost stepped on someone. When my foot landed on a warm, squishy person, I started in shock, leaping back. I blinked once, then stared at the girl. She sure was a sight, her clothes tattered and grimy. But maybe she liked her clothes like that. I knew instantly she was the source of the loud lyricals, and as I spun around, I caught sight of the boy. I swear my heart stopped. I had never seen anything like him before; he was different, fresh. I offered a faint smile in both their directions before spinning on my heel and taking off. Embarrassment tinged my cheeks a faint pink, but I was horridly angry with myself. I meet the first humans of the island, and I step on one and stare at the other. I facepalmed as I looked for my tree, hoping they weren't following. The girl didn't seem the type, but the guy I had no clue about. Spotting my tree, I thanked God for my being born a runner, and for having kept in shape. That appeared key here.
Sighing with relief as I clambered up into my tree, straining my ears to hear them. After a few moments, satisfied that no one was that near, I vaulted from my little dead tree and landed in a crouch. Rising swiftly to my feet and taking a deep breath, I turned and started to jog again, still in the opposite direction of the other people, I couldn't help but think of going back. Maybe offering to start fresh? I would hate to make enemies my first day here. Pondering this, I began to him again, now my tuneless song taking on a country twang. Biting my lip and considering options, I once more stopped looking where I was going. I was jolted out of my reverie by lurching suddenly-- a hole in the ash flooring. Recovering my footing shockingly quickly, I steadied myself and reprimanded my clumsiness in my head. I had to watch where I was going, stop zoning out-- Dear Lord, I did it again! I let out an oath and a growl, having forgotten about the other people. Spitting out a few ashy strands of hair, I glared at the ground, cursing it for having become filled with ash. So annoying and unnecessary, although I suppose no one thought about that when they made those foul, accursed bombs. Snorting my disgust, I paused for a minute, thinking I had heard a voice. But no, impossible. I had left those two behind... Hadn't I?

Draco finally catched up to Wild Ass when he saw the other girl. Her golden hair seemed to shine a bit. She seemed to be staring at him. Why was he not suprised by that? But she suddenly bolts off, what happened, did they scare her? He hoped not. Sighing Draco decided to sit next to wild ass. " Hey Wild Ass, call me Raven and not Mr. III okay?" His rubies gazed off to the direction where the blonde bolted off to. " Wonder where that blonde went to? I'm going to look for her, she looks like she needs a friend." Raven got up and dusted the ash off him. " You can come if you want, unless you want to make more ash-angels." He started in the general direction that the blonde took. It was not hard to follow her tracks in the ash. He soon spotted her in the distance. She must of trippped or something because she seemed angry at herself and was covered in ash. Raven stood at a distance not wanting to startle her and simply said, " Hello." Attachments:

Jumping up from my blissful daze, I shook my body out and let an extremely donkey like roar. With a giggle and a head bob, I chased after the silly humans, one toe headed, the other red eyed. "Sure thing, Mr. III!" I chimed after his instructions, a snicker at my ability to disobey so well. "Hey! Mr. III! My name is actually Kara! But ... knowing you and how silly you are, I'm sure I'll just be good ol' WILD ASS to you!" With a good-natured pat on the youths head, I raced circles around him. "You know, something seems odd about you, I just can't quiet put my finger on it ..." With that I began poking and prodding young Draco, ready to burst out in whole-hearted laughter if he felt uncomfortable.

I whirled, lowering my stance and balancing my weight. A friend had always started out saying hello before jumping on me; I wanted to make sure no one would so that. Navy blue and violet focused with an instantaneous stare, Before I calmed and relaxed my stance, staring at him over crossed arms. "Hello," I said, voice clear and calm. I raised a single blonde eyebrow at the circling girl. She was acting like a child, and it was kind of amusing. "You two are the first humans I've seen yet; seen anyone else?" I hummed to Buried Beneath by RED, the bell part. It was downright amazing, to be perfectly honest. Flipping my hood over my two-tone hair, I kept my stare directed at them, still mildly amused at the girl-child. Blinking once, I directed my stare to elsewhere, off into the copse of trees. Dead trees, but still. Trees they were and always would be, dead or not. And hopefully they would grow, and be regular, alive trees again. But who knew... God knows I didn't. A faint grin appeared on my face as I backed up, leaning against the skeleton of a tree. "So what's your story, tyke and boy?" I rolled my shoulders and stretched slightly, keeping my face in slight shadow from the hood. I kept my name put of the conversation; if either of them had criminal connections, they would hate me, because of my father.
"Anyone do any exploring yet?" I inquired, eyes following the circling girl. I wished she would stop that; it wasn't making me dizzy, but it was distracting, as the object of my attention was within that circle. Teeth clenched as I watched the girl, before relaxing as I looked away. I don't know why she irritated me so; certain people could just do that. Pupils grew smaller as I stared at the grey sky, wondering if the sun would ever shine again. The amour of sheer destruction had caused a constant gray sky, and I had to wonder, once, ifthe atmosphere cleared, would the sun shine? And if it did, would it ever be as bright as it once had? Even if the land's fertility returned, would anything else? My attention snapped back to the other two humans, having heard one say something. Took them long enough.

Draco watched the wild child run around him. When she started to poke and prod him for a second he felt uncomfortable, but soon turned on his 'shadow' mode. He didn't allow the touching to bother him and his face showed no emotion or signs of recognition to her silly attacks. It has been a long time since he felt anyone touch him. When he was older and could dress himself he no longer was touched by anyone. Only by a doctor if he was sick, but besides that nothing. Raven secretly relished Kara's touch, even if it was annoying. " Kara if you think that's going to annoy me try something else" The blonde's question distracted him from the prodding. " My name is Draco Valcon III, but call me Raven I like that name a lot better. My family was a noble family with ties to many royal monarchs and their families, but I was treated more like shadow than nobility in my family. This wild thing running around me is Kara. She's the only other human I seen here besides you. I didn't explore this place much, I don't know about Kara though." He study the blond carefully. Did she seem to be admiring him? Attachments:
