Dark Night, Dark Den

I barrel nearer, big paws thumping an excited beat as I lope into my own home front. The thick scents of char, dust, and wolves den assail my warm nares and I breath deep the glorious scent. I bound over to a rather inconspicuous bundle of branches and turn peer over my should at the human Ande. With a single tail wag, I push myself over the light branches, when happened to be hanging from a near by tree, and pull myself into the den-like cave.

Instantly the aromas of wet, musty cave and wolf hit my senses. Everywhere you could see the scattered remains of past meals, and little white and brown tuffs of fur rolling around like light colored dust bunnies. A smile reaches my kissers and I allow my long pink tonue to droop down from my maw, the sound of my panting echos through the den. Without waiting for Ande, I trot inside and make myself comfortable in a corner. I plat myself on the ground, curling my body into a ball, and wrapping myself in my tail. There I sit, awaiting Ande's reaction, listening to my own stomach rumble.
